It was the Christmas celebration day....

The holiday season is finally here.. which means it is the time to deck the halls, embrace all things mercy and bright. And while it is called the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.

We believe that, 

Christmas waves a magic wand over this world and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful..

Our MTTC were drowned in red, white and green to receive the magic touch of Christmas.Everywhere , in  every thing we felt the invisible vibes of Christmas. Happiness, enjoyment filled everywhere.we were welcomed by the very beautiful Christmas tree in the college corridor.

It is said that, 

'If you don't have a Christmas your heart

You will never find it under a tree' 

Our college union Nisarga arranged a wonderful feast for us. The celebration was inaugurated by Fr. Jolly Karimpil and the occasion was blessed with the presence of our pricipal Dr. K.Y Benedict sir, Bursar , college union chairman and our inspiring teachers. 

Pricipal Benedict sir delivered a meaningful speech including the birth of Jesus, and the voyage of Jesus. And also he detailed about the pursuing of hopes in our life.  Fr. Jolly Karimpil delivered a wonderful, mind blowing speech , which took us to a world of spirituality and hopes. Bursar also added new vision in us. Thoughtful moments...

Later we celebrated the beginning of Christmas joy with the sweetness of cake. 

    

Afternoon session was the real celebrations.

First years and second years lend our ears by their charole. It was soothing and relaxing. 

 

Mathematics association presented a short skit on the speciality and importance of  Christmas decorations including candles, cakes , trees etc. It was a different but innovative presentation. Within a short period, they  described the whole Christmas. 

Later, Natural Science and MEd association presented Christmas vibes through their songs and dance . They captured our mind and eyes fully . We thoroughly enjoyed. 

       

It remembered me , 

'The thing about Christmas is that it almost doesn't matter what mood you are in or what kind of a year you have had - it is a fresh start... '

Later we physical Science performed a short dance to add sweetness to the celebrations. It was fun, and full of enjoyment. 

After that , the results of some programs conducted announced and the Social Science association won the Letter to Santa competition. During the prize distribution principal read the letter - it was a letter filled with fun and our  wonderful experiences in college. Appreciating words .....

     

And we got the second prize for the Christmas Card making competition. That moments were filled with joy and togetherness. We received the price expressing our happiness through dancing. Unforgettable moments...

      

At last we thoroughly enjoyed by dancing and singing , not only we but also our loving teachers .... Moments of celebrating happiness ....

   

Dear friend, like snow flakes,my Christmas memories gather and dance- each beautiful and unique.

Today always remember me,

Christmas is a bridge. We need bridges as the river of time flows past, today's Christmas should mean creating happy hours for tomorrow and reliving those of yesterday...

Memories remember me again and again,

'We did not realise we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun'

I want you to tell you and the whole world,

 'We may  have all come on different ships, but we are in the same boat now ...

Start Where You Are,Use What You Have, Do What You Can...

 Dear Anne,

It was another pleasent day.... morning was very clear remembering the coming days of Christmas. 

The first session was Small Group discussion on the topic  Merits and demerits of cyberspace . It brought new thoughts...new ideas... I think group discussion is essential in all levels of education, because through the interaction and discussion , it becomes the Dias for the integration of different informations. It is a method essential for the effectiveness of learning.

'Discussion is an exchange of knowledge,an argument an exchange of ignorance'.

    

Later Maya miss entered the class with a beautiful smile. And she discussed about the different Qualities and Competencies of a teacher. She beautifully and conveniently described the Requirement of a good teacher. About physical and mental health, emotional stability, IQ,EQ,SQ, punctuality and impartiality..... She always take an effort to explain about each points making a model of a inspiring teacher. Self thinking and informative moments...

      

I believe, 

'Good teacher is more a giving of right questions than giving of right answers'

In the afternoon , following the instructions of Neena mam we planned about the Christmas programmes. It was interesting and fun . We planned for different and innovative programmes. Also we chose our Christmas friend...moments of little surprise and joy....

  

When ideas are confronted with reality, there will always be surprise

 Afternoon session was handled by Joju sir. He presented a few videos showing the different aspects of an e- content development. Later he detailed about the mandatory ingredients of an e content .our classmate  Bharath detailed about the importance of music and video in an e- content. It was a new experience and really informative. 

The jingle bells are ringing...

Christmas is not a story of hope,  it is hope 

Yes, it is the season of Perpetual Hope ...

Do Not Dwell In The Past, Do Not Dream Of The Future, Concentrate The Mind On The Present Moment

     

 Dear Anne, 

It was another mesmerizing as well as a regular college day. The sky was clear and visible. Everyone seems to be happy after the holidays. I felt college regained its previous energy and vibrant after a few days.we were welcomed by the beautiful, enchanting Christmas tree in the college. It creates the flowers of coming hopes and happiness in our minds. 

First session was our optional Physical Science. Neena mam entered the class and gave an introduction to the mandatory works we have to complete before January 3, including assignment, presentations. She remembered us about the hectic time schedule that we are going to face in the future. And there was a small introduction of our new friend Anju, she sang a beautiful, heart touching song for us. Later, teacher discussed about Science- Theoretical basis, nature. Numerous thoughts , opinions were gathered .

     

Yes, ' Science is a way of thinking, much more than it is a body of knowledge' .

Later it was Joju sir's class. He briefly described about the semester 1 technology paper and divided the assignment topics also. His class is always interesting because of his thoughts and songs . 

Afternoon session was also taken by Joju sir . In that session he discussed about the Difference between Technology in education and Technology of education and different definitions and scope of educational technology. 

'Educational technology is the application of scientific method and techniques to education'.

      

After that, we went the library. The smiling faces of books welcomed us to their world. There is a large collection of books so we can fly with anything. Our minds and thoughts scattered everywhere. 

'Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improve our qualities of life'.

In the Evening , we have a seminar by Insight Indepth of MTTC on the topic Indicators of teacher effectiveness, by Sindhu Sarah mam. She deeply explained about the knowledge of a teacher, and teaching indicators.

Trust The Magic Of New Beginnings, There Are Far,Far Better Things Ahead Than Any We Leave Behind.

 

Dear Anne,

 

It was a new beginning...a new exploration in the world of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. I was little anxious, and curious about this session, because I believed that  the Robotics world was complicated and beyond our thoughts. But when I entered the computer lab , slowly I realised that It is not magical . 

The session started with a relavant quote that ,

'Robots are not going to replace humans, they are going to make their jobs much more humane'.

Yes, still some people are reluctant to know or enter the world of Robotics. So these words are really welcoming and understanding.

The session opened a new chapter of Robotics in my mind. 

It is an interdisciplinary branch of computer science and technology, and involves design, construction, operation and use of robotics. So it develops machines that can substitute for humans and replicate human actions. It can be used in many situations for many purposes, even in dangerous environments and manufacturing processes, where human cannot survive.

Generally, there are five types of robots,

1) Pre-Programmed robots  ( robots operated in a controlled environment)

2) Humanoid robots ( mimick human behaviour)

3) Autonomous robots ( operated independently of human operators)

4) Teleoperated robots ( semi- autonomous enables human control from a safe distance)

5) Augmenting robots ( either enhance current human capabilities or replace capabilities a human may have lost ) 

So surely we can say, Robotics is a rapidly growing field. 

      

The programming and execution of robot was interesting and informative. It was a true reflection of advancement in technology. Each programming made curiosity in our minds.

So Robotics session created a magic world with its pen of  possibilities. It is unending, but overwhelming. It is a true prediction of future.

Learn From Yesterday, Live For Today,Hope For Tomorrow

 Dear Anne, 

Another day had dawned, bringing with it new hopes and aspirations.

Today was cool and invigorating day , with full of calmness and silence. When I entered the college I felt, Are our college and our mother nature relaxing or taking rest after the stress of NAAC visit?  It remembered me , 

'Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day is the rest we take between two deep breaths'.

Yes, we students and the whole college were in a mood of laziness and calmness before the arrival of the Storms of Christmas.

The hardwork and efforts for attaining our goal was still smiling everywhere in the college, in the seminar hall, on the walls of every classrooms and in the corridor.... They remember us the fruits of hardwork even after long years...

The forenoon session was taken by Dr. Maya miss. She commented on our efforts and contributions. And also she engaged us in a different activitity - it was a short writing about Positives that we acquired, and the qualities needed to improve as a Teacher and also a true, genuine review about teacher's class. It was interesting and introspective. Because writing always bring our minds and souls to what we write.

 ' We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect'.

After she read a few, assured that surely we could find remedies for building our confidence and communication skills. 

        

Afternoon session was handled by Dr. Joju sir ,a man with full of Positivity and energy. He started our class with a prayer song which admires the efforts and hardwork to the success and praising the Invisible Hands of God. Later,he concluded the group discussion topic Pros and Cons of Technology . And gave an short introduction to technology - Hardware and Software technologies. It was really informative.

There was a silence everywhere , remaining a Splash of hopes and dreams are waiting us. 

Let your hopes, not your hurts, shape your future. 

Dear friend, I wish to tell you that,

If Everyone Is Moving Forward Together, Then Success Takes Care of Itself

Dear Anne,

It was another blissful day. It was the second day of NAAC visit. The morning was very calm, and refreshing. We entered the college by wearing the Kerala Saree - the symbol of our tradition and culture. We had assembly also . Everyone was more active and happy. The assembly was very systematic as per the instructions of our seniors. Assembly the symbol of unity ,

'There is beauty and power in unity, we must be united in heart and mind, one world, one people'. 

Started with prayer , and then pledge  , campus news , thoughts were filled. And the principal Dr. Benedict sir delivered  mesmerizing thoughts also. Then, to receive

Christmas , students of all associations presented gifts to pricipal . And it was ended with National anthem. 

We got more time in the morning to capture beautiful moments of ours. It reflects ,

 Do not wait for the perfect moment,

Take the moment and make it perfect.

Collecting more photos encouraged us to,

 

'Collect all beautiful moments, until it becomes a memory , because most of our happiness is not stored in photos'

 

It remembered us, 

A camera is a SAVE button for the mind's eye

The afternoon session was Robotics . It was a new experience and also a new beginning to Artificial Intelligence. The class started with a quote, 

'Robots are not going to replace humans,

They are going to make their jobs much more humane' .

And it teaches us, 

  

Predicting the future is not magic, it is Artificial Intelligence. 

The programming and execution of robot was interesting and informative.It is the true reflection of advancement in technology.

Individually We Are One Drop, Together We Are One Ocean...

 Dear Anne,

It was another exciting day. The day of fulfilling our hard work to our dreams.It was the first day of NAAC visit.So surely a life changing day of our college.The unity, hard work, prayers all will help us to succeed. It is  crucial  for us, because it may dreams come true moments. The efforts, and Hard work that each and every one taken is admirable. I think the nature is also supporting us to achieve the success. Every moment is filled with silent prayers and hopes...

It remembered me, 

'A dream doesn't become reality through magic, it takes sweat, determination and hard work. Work hard, have fun, make history' . 

      

 We received the NAAC team in our traditional way and led them through the red carpet - the path of honour and respect.

 Our pricipal Dr. K .Y Benedict sir gave a message us that , 

'Unity is strength when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved'. 

Then we started our normal class day. The first session was Yoga- The Journey of the self through self to self. 

Actually, 

Yoga is not a work - out, it is a work- in and this is the point of spiritual practice to make us teachable to open up our hearts and focuss our awareness so that we can know what we already know and be who we already are.

          

                

 The second session was a discussion about Qualities and Competencies of a teacher. In that session we derived a lots of qualities starting with letter A to Z . It was very interesting and informative. Because these discussions always teach and passes new informations.

 Third session was handled by Dr. Shaji sir . Session was interesting and really informative . He discussed about the Theories of Development. He detailed the Piaget's theory of intellectual development through various examples. 

                

Afternoon session was Aerobics, we enjoyed it a lot even in the burning rays of sun. It cooled down our body and mind. 

Evening was the Cultural Programmes.It remembered, 

Powerful is the light of unity that, it can illuminate the whole earth.

It was a mesmerizing moment, filled with excitement as well as enjoyment. The event reflect our traditional culture and unity.It paved the keyword of our country- Unity in Diversity. 

 It was a Visual Feast. It melted our minds and hearts. Painted so many memories in our soul . 

There are memories that time doesn't erase,

forever does not make loss forgettable, only bearable.

             

So it is the prayer, 

'Powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth'

The words blowing in my mind, 

'The work goes on, the cause endures , the hope still lives and the dreams shall never die'

Lead From the Heart,Not From the Head -A Journey to Heaven of Love and Innocence

 Dear Anne,

It was another unforgettable day...new experiences ,new thoughts...

The morning was very pleasent. First session was taken by Dr.Joju sir , a man with Full of Positivity and vibrant. It was Small Group Discussion session about The Prons and Cones of Technology. It became the Dias for the unification of different thoughts and attitudes. He also gave a small introduction about the visit to Santhi mandhiram. 

Then we started our journey to Vattappara together.We enjoyed the journey, by singing songs and made the feel of a school tour. After a long walk finally we reached the heaven in earth. Many beautiful smiling faces welcomed us there. So many emotions like curiosity, happy , sadnesss in their faces. Our loving Joju sir and Gibi mam were with us providing all supports and motivations.

Santhi mandhiram has a long history, the manager discussed about the past and present of the trust. The persons who help others without bothering circumstances are the real heroes- he is a real hero.

 We engaged them by our songs, activities, mimicry , folk songs, dances ... They also sang for us, powerful sounds , are really touched our hearts. 

It is said that God cannot remain present everywhere and that is why he has created Saints and good people, why not only can motivate communities but also can assist them in their needs.

The one who can share his bread and profit with others is real man on the earth.Such people are attached to God and close to the Nature.

The atmosphere teach me,

'No one is useless in the world, who lightens the Burdens of another'. 

 And their eyes seems to say, 

'For attractive lips, speak words of kindness

For lovely eyes, seek out the good in the people

For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry 

For a beautiful hair, let a child run his fingers through it one day,

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand , you will find one at the end of your arm '.

Money is not only commodity that is fun to give.We can give time,we can give our expertise,we can give our love or simply give a smile. What does that cost? The point is , none of us can ever run out of something worthwhile to give.

That is  one of the greatest gift you can give anyone is the gift of your attention.

That experience teach me , Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.

Small group discussion session 

Afternoon session was the end of our Talent Hunt programmes. Natural science and we physical Science were the presenters. Natural science rocked the stage with their dance, songs ... 

How can I express my feelings at that time to you dear friend? It was bit nervous.. little anxiety. It is the final results of our practices, efforts and hardwork.We entered the stage by gathering some confidence from our mentor Neena mam , and from anywhere, I don't know... Because it was live , and a new experience for us .  We believe that,

We cannot be separated in interest or divided in purpose. We stand together until the end.

  

Our program was a  success. And teach and remembered us the Values of unity and coordination which connects us . It added more sweetness to our memmories.

 

"There are memories that time does not erase… Forever does not make loss forgettable, only bearable.”

 Hopes , 

Hope is the only bee that makes honey without flowers.

It was another pleasent day. The day began

 pleasantly, there were no rush, loudness

 . Peace and calmness were filled

 everywhere. Initially the prayer touched

 our soul. And the first session was taken by 

Dr.Gibi mam, she entered the class with a 

Beautiful smile and initially asked a few

 questions about the previous lessons. And

 then she discussed the characteristics of 

Psychology and the scope of educational

 psychology. It was very interesting and

 informative for us. And she engaged us in

 different activities, it was funny and

 thoughtful.

          

Psychology session

 The next session was handled by Elizabeth mam ,she started the lessons of creative art through flower arrangement. It was very interesting because it needs creative thinking and imagination. It reflects,

'Art is not a mirror held up to reality,but a hammer with which to shape it' 

 Art always teach a lesson ,

 'Creativity involves breaking out of established pattern in order to look at things in a different way.'

Her class was filled with new imaginations and new thinking. The way of arranging flowers ,stems and leaves bring passion and imagination.  Because, 

'Art making is like dreaming , go wild and let your story unfold'.

That time Albert Einstein's famous quote came to my mind,

'Logic will gets you to from A to B, Imagination will take you to everywhere'.

 

Afternoon session was Aerobics. It was full of fun and enjoyment through different activities. Most of us were unfamiliar with the Aerobics , but the trainer make us very comfortable and enjoyable.

It always remember ,

'All progress takes place outside the comfort zone.’

       

I really enjoyed the day, but the words to describe it is beyond the words..that is a fact. You know dear, 

'The price of memmories is the memory of the sorrow it brings.'

It was another mesmerizing day...with full of enthusiasm and enjoyment. The morning clear sky was misterious, because in everyone , and in everything, we found some plannings and practices for the Talent Hunt.All are planning to do something different in the programme, highly confidential and preparative..

       

 The first session was taken by Dr.Maya miss ,  she entered the class with the ' Touch of Smile and Positivity'. Despite of the Monday laziness, at a time,we enjoyed and engaged in the thought process. She discussed about the different Values of Education 

It facilitates the individual, social, cultural development, knowledge and National Integration also. She described each and every point clear, vivid and it was informative also. 

 

 The second session was handled by Dr.Shaji sir, it was his first class for us.Little nervous..but it was really enjoyable and informative.He discussed the 9 step formula of success in life. It was very innovative and applicable in everyone's life.He always tried to explain the ideas with the 'Touch of his experience'. 

perspective, Syllabus analysis, time table, previous questions, Focus on concepts, Avoid mistakes, combine study, self evaluation and confidence ...

His nine steps to achieve success.It was very focused and practicable. 

Afternoon session was a  little surprising, and enjoyable. It was the talent hunt of Malayalam and Social Science associations.

I always believed that ,

Talent combined with hardwork will always win all the time.

Both programmes filled our minds and eyes.

Malayalam association remembered us the Values of Nature and our mother tongue through their Visual treat. 

Social science association adopted the modern thinking in their program.They taught us , Talent has no limitations ...no barrier.... Our minds even thoughts were wandering in that moment.

I don't know how to express my feelings through words.. it is beyond the words.

 

'True happiness involves the full use of one’s power and talents.' 

And also I believe that, 

'Everybody is talented , because everybody who is human has something to express..

 

I still believe that, 

'By people getting together and celebrating this ideas of togetherness, great things can happen' 

Later we engaged in practice, an attempt to achieve success.

Little Moments,Big Memories, Keep Some Room in Your Heart for the Un- Imaginable

It was an unforgettable day in my life.And this day will never happen again. It remembered me, 

Life brings tears,smiles and memories.The tears dry, the smiles fade, but  ...

 The Memories last forever...

It was a clear and vivid morning with full of confidence and energy, because it is the beginning of our Talent Hunt shows.

Every moment teach me that, some surprises will be kept for us in the evening.

The morning class was taken by Dr Archana mam, who delivered a detailed explanation about the 'Psychology', The science of Behaviour. Her content and knowledge make our minds delighted and brain active.She also discussed about the Schools of Psychology including structuralism, functionalism etc. It was a long period, but really informative.She ensured the active participation of ours throughout her class,

Later,it was the Holy mass, and the prayer was held at the chapel- The reflection of hopes and thoughts...

Afternoon session was the most awaited Talent Hunt programmes of English association ' Operation BEd' , and the Mathematics ' Ankura' . Both created a major in our minds. The Dias of different talents, ideas, themes, dances and music.

       

It was a Visual Feast...

'Talent is like a flower, it needs watering'

So we can definitely say our MTTC is true reservoir of inspiration as well as motivation.Both programmes fulfilled the words, 

'Talent combined with hardwork will always win all the time' 

      

I don't know how to express my feelings dear... They theft our ears,eyes and heart.And it brings a lot of unforgettable memories...

It remembered me,

'Nothing is more precious than being in the present moment, fully alive, fully aware'.

Later we got a chance to observe the telescope 🔭, who is a new member of our college. It was very exciting to look through that telescope.A new experience...
