Science - A word to describe a method of organizing our curiosity..

Dear Anne,

It was a special moment, I want to tell you about an assignment that's given about developing scientific Attitudes.

Science is a way of life, a perspective. Science is a process that takes us from confusion to understanding in a manner, that is precise , predictable and reliable one also.

We live in a world of Scientific culture. Science has shrunk the world totally and changed the human outlook. Modern science is no longer confined to the surface of this globe, its sphere of achievements reached beyond the earth.

Teachers have huge responsibility on their shoulders to shape the destiny of nation and hence play important role in the development of Scientific Attitude among children.

They become very curious to know more and more about things, persons , events surrounding him. So that he explore till he get proper explanation and satisfactory responses to the queries....

So 'Hands -On Science ' method will help them to come out of the boxes and explore the science , nature....

Put your thoughts into sleep, do not let them cast a shadow, over the moon of your heart.Let go of thinking...

Dear Anne,

Yes, we met after a few days... unforgettable days in my life.....I also played a character of a COVID patient. My mind, thoughts were wandering anywhere. My freedom, and thoughts had a boundary- they always restricted around my room- 'my dream world'.

Through the window I looked the whole world ... nature , birds, a bit of sky....The infinity sky was disappeared from my eyes.  Sometimes the whispering of wind made me dreaming. Sometimes, the chirping of birds made my mind hoping. The eternity of the nature became small in my eyes. Music sometimes soothened my heart and soul.

It is a common saying is that,

"It isn't what you have or

what you are or Where You are or

what you are doing that,

makes you happy or unhappy.

It is what you think about it".

I really realised the unhappy and restricted freedom when a bird is trapped in a cage.

Yes, it is a kind of dying with out any hopes...

But my hopes accelerate my thoughts and forced me to come out of it.

If you don't like the road you're walking, start paving another one....

After a few days break, I met , heard my friends and teachers - even virtually it was relaxing moments...

First session was our optional Physical Science. Neena ma'am discussed about the different categories of Content Analysis. Including symbols, term, fact, concepts, definitions etc. It was very interesting and thoughtful one. It was a beginning step in our writing.

Later, Gibi ma'am discussed about the Schools of Psychology- structuralism, functionalism, psychoanalytic school. And she divided the assignment and seminar topic also. New informations new thoughts..

Last session was taken by Maya ma'am. She discussed about Idealism- methods of teaching, role of a teacher, and about Discipline, and implications. She detailed each and every aspect of Idealism. Thoughtful moments....

Another day passed giving mesmerizing memories.

Sometimes we will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory...

Sometimes, hopes lead us ... sometimes hopes gives us the courage to break all the boundaries and barriers around us. But,

Hope means that we must trust+wait for what is still unseen...

With lots of hopes... Good Night dear...

If it comes, let it come. If it stays, let it stay . If it goes, let it go.....

Dear Anne,

Another day came with lots of hopes...

Another day without travel, friends , without seeing our college.

Now, online classes became a part of our life. No more curiosity , no more worries.. It also added  a essence of a systematic behaviour to our life.

First session was Maya ma'am. She discussed about the Different schools of Philosophy- Idealism, Naturalism, Realism and Pragmatism . She clearly described ' Idealism' with more examples and figures. It believe in truth, beauty, and goodness.  Truly informative and thoughtful session. Her way of presentation, expressing ideas and evoking thoughts are admirable and motivating us - as budding teachers.

Later Gibi ma'am discussed about scope of Psychology in Learning process and learning methods. She shared the thought of Gagne,

'Anything can be taught any level,if we are providing proper learning experience'.

Honest and practical words..

Then she simply defined the learning methods as, 'tell them what you are going to tell, tell them properly, tell them what you have already taught'.

It was a discussion session, generated so many thoughts and ideas .

Third session was our optional Physical Science. Neena mam ,gave an outline about all the seminar and assignment in this semester and also she distributed the topic . We have to done a lot of work , but they are interesting .

There was no special events in today ..but it reminds me the words,

You know you have read a good book, when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend....

Yes it is true.. each day is chapter in our life story , don't send it back unopened.

I want to tell you dear,

Hang on to your hat,

Hang on to your hope,

And wind the clock for ,

Tomorrow is another day....

Good night dear....

Reading- A passport to Countless Adventures...

Dear Anne,

I want to share you about an unforgettable and mesmerizing experience . Can you guess , what I am going to tell ?

Yes, It is about the experience I got from reading the book 'Chemical Elements'.

Books ... It is a dream that hold us in our hands..... Truly a unique portable magic...

Mark Twain once said,

'Good friends, good books and a sleepy conscience : this is the ideal life '

Early times, I was not much interested in reading. But J.K Rowling's words changed me a lot,

If you don't like to read, you haven't found the right book

Writing and reading deepens and widens and expands our senses of life, they feed the soul. When writer makes us shake our heads with the exactness of their prose and their truths, and even makes us laugh about ourselves or life, our buoyancy is restored.

It is like singing on a boat during a terrible storm at sea, you cannot stop the raging storm, but singing can change the hearts and spirits of the people who are together on that ship.

It is true that no two persons ever read the same book

When I read that book I came to know how chemistry has developed as a multidisciplinary subject and a lot of unknown facts . So it helps me to travel to the past without moving my feet ..I also became a part in the discovery of elements. realize efforts of scientists in building the modern periodic table...

My thoughts and experiences from the text are included in following

words sometime decides boundary in expressing our thoughts .I know you can understand m thoughts because you were also present throughout  my journey of reading. . Also it is a hope to coming days of future science..

Hopes.... a waking dream... lies in our imagination and in the courage of those who dare to make dreams into reality....

with lots of hopes.... Good night dear....

Open your heart, your mind, your eyes to a new way of seeing.of feeling.of knowing.

Dear Anne,

It was another new beginning of our online classes. It was an entirely different environment from our live classrooms. Truly, a techno- facilitated medium. Not only us, also our gadgets , home are its main characters. Through a screen , we are virtually interacting with teachers and friends. Sometimes through messages, voices  , presentation we involve in fruitful communication.

From my previous experience , it is a wide teaching- learning platform. Instead of using traditional black board, we use powerpoint for our presentation. Our convenience decides the mode of presentation. Here ,our sound modulation , presentation skills fulfil our results.  It is a great advancement in education that gifted by the great dictator - the corona virus.

The only hope that lead us is ,

Let come what comes, let go what goes, see what remains...

First class started at 9 am with a prayer. And Sathyalekha ma'am discussed about the Importance of classroom Communication and its components . It was really informative and thoughtful.

Later was our optional Physical Science class. Revathi mam described about the elements of teaching and learning. It was a true discussion session, facilitated our minds to explore the new ideas, thoughts...

It was a new beginning for us. So we have to overcome certain difficulties and inexperience , but we have to accept this emerging platform.

It is said that,

The art of life lies in a constant readjustments to our surroundings...

Yes, we have to accept the change ..

I remember the lines,

'Hopes is the thing with feathers

that perches in the soul and

Sings the tune without the words

and never stops at all...'

I would like to tell you dear that,

I inhale hope with every breath I take..

With lots of hopes... Good Night dear...

It reminds,

Life is a collection of moments .

Really hard and tough game for us , but we have to overcome the hardest levels by the life of confidence and hopes . It teaches,

Life is not a Solo act, it is a huge collaboration, and we all need to assemble around us people who care about us and support us in times of strife.

And hope,

Stay positive, better days are on their way. And don't give up....

Let's hope for the best.....
