It was the seminar Presentation of Edu 10.8 on the topic 'Modular Instructions '. It was an online presentation through Google meet platform. I prepared the slides for the presentation and presented in online mode. 

Modular Instructions are the Instructions in the form of Modules , usually used instructions for higher classes. More reliable and systematic form of instruction....

Group Discussion on Educational Commissions in India

 

As part of semester 2 , Edu 06: Education in Indian Society ,we conducted a group Discussion on the topic " Education Commissions". In the first session, we discussed about Radhakrishnan Commission ( 1948) and Mudaliar Commission. 

 Discussion started with a brief introduction by Maya Ma'am. And we divided into seven groups and discussions were based on Printed materials. Each member of group contributed in ideas. 

  

 Discussions were about their Contributions to education, Recommendations, Aim of Education etc. It was an enriching session.

Music and Art & Aesthetic Sessions

 Dear Anne, 

It was another exciting day....

Today we have Art & Aesthetic Sessions and Music sessions. A different experience...

Music Session started with the short introduction speech of our principal Benedict sir. Session was handled by Lekshmi ma'am. She poured the beginning lessons of Music. And divided into six groups, I was in group Four. She trained us the basics of the eternal Music. We enjoyed a lot and get refreshed. 

  

Yes, Music has a calming effect.....

After that we have Art and Aesthetic Sessions by Reju sir. Another hours of excitement and enjoyment. Sir engaged us in different games like Car and Driver, Communication and Concentration games.

   

Interesting and refreshing moments with friends ....enjoyed a lot .....

"Cognitive Acceleration Through Science Education" - CASE. 

About CASE ....

# Cognitive acceleration or CA is an approach to teaching designed to develop students' thinking ability, developed by Michael Shayer and Philip Adey from 1981 at King's College London .

#The approach builds on work by Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky and takes a constructivist approach.

Welcome to our Juniors... Course Inauguration 2022-2024

 Course Inauguration 2022- 2024

It was the course Inauguration of our junior batch 2022-2024. The first day of their BEd life in MTTC. The ceremony was a feast to them, and filled with colours of prayers and warm welcome. 

  

Function was inaugurated by Fr. 

.He gave a nice and overwhelming speech. And principal Benedict sir added more colours to the session with his valuable words. Prayers and blessings was spreading in air. We seniors welcomed them by our short Pooja dance performances and with songs. 

Joju sir , Maya teacher , Reghu sir were gave messages to new batch. 

It was another memorable session. 

Annual Sports Meet -Physical as well as mental Refreshment....

 Dear Anne,

It was the Annual Sports Meet. After a lots of planning and preparation we conducted the sports meet. George sir was the pillar of the meet. Morning around 10 Am events were started. 

In the first day, there was Shotput, Discus throw, running events, and long jump for girls and boys. It was enjoying and it became the stage of sincere efforts, and sportsmanship .  I participated in shot put and 100 m running. By afternoon the session ended. 

In the second day, there was final of items, and javelin throw. There was the inauguration ceremony and Parade of three houses, and flag rising ceremony. Benedict sir inaugurated the events and other teachers and staffs were present there. 

The Medal distribution and certificate distribution was done, in a well organized pattern. And after a strong competition, Rubi House became the Champion. 

It was ended with National Anthem.

As part of our optional we prepared our first lesson template. Neena ma'am gave a brief introduction about the structure, content and organisations of a lesson template. We choose the topic ' Change of States', after a short discussion and planning. 

It was our first attempt but interesting and thought provoking. Another step to my dream - Teaching was established.
