An Online Talk on Secularism and Democracy by Nidhin Jose

 

It was an excellent talk by Mr. Nidhin Jose on Secularism and Democracy - a very relevant topic in the current era. It was highly informative and interactive one. Pouring so many fresh thoughts on the Idea of secularism and democracy.

A big opportunity - A part of Breakthrough Science Society Summer camp

 It was a memorable day in my life . I got a chance to take a class for kids as part of the Science Summer camp organised by Breakthrough Science Society in planetarium TVM. 

Me and Krishna took a class on Contributions of P.C Ray - The father of Indian Chemistry. We briefed his life for the young minds. It was a little nervous and the same time a biggest opportunity. The session was very interesting as well as interactive. 

Satrangi-- Arts Fest 2k 23

    Inaugural session 

 It was the week of Arts Fest. The sessions were filled with literary as well as stage items. I participated in Malayalam essay writing and i got first prize for it. 

And students were rocked on the stage. Group events and single item were there. It was very enjoyable and memorable. 

There was tough and toe to toe competition among the 3 houses, and finally our house Sapphire took the Championship 🏆. 

The end of the first chapter of school practice.............

 It was the last day in the school. Reached the school with a weeping heart......I could not believe that it was the final day of teaching practice, because it was very enjoyable and refreshing days of BEd journey.

                    

We spend most of the day with our children, by collecting their feedbacks, enjoying with them, conducting small send off ceremony..... A busy day too............... My classes 8c and 9A ..............gave me a treat filled with their songs and short dances , taking selfies and group photos...... I distributed small gifts for students who scored high marks in the tests. They given back their love in the form of their words and as small gifts. My mind filled with their love.

I felt that love and affection from my children, memorable moments in my life.

            

We took photos with Principal, and Head master and with our optional teachers. Their love and support was really commentable and unforgettable. 

             

 While signed in the attendance register, literally my mind was weeping .... undescribable feeling.... 

feeling of someone or something is going to miss and lost. I really experienced the children's unconditional love..... proud in the moment in choosing this noble profession. 

Remembering the past fallen days in the school........ Recognizing the changes happened to me from the first to the last day in the school...

A temporary closing of the first chapter of School practice......... waiting for more exciting days..................

Last lap

 It was the last Thursday in the school. And i reached school 9.15 am. I conducted a small test paper in 9 A, on the unit world of carbon for 20 marks. Then i recorded a few students's feedback.

                            

 Since tomorrow school was organising a social audit, we shifted to ground floor again. And in the afternoon we distributed the mid day meal and we signed the records from our concern teachers. 

In the afternoon I got a free period in 8 C so that I engaged them in short games and some of them gave feedback.It was an interesting session.

Something was wounding in the heart, time is passing very fast. Going to miss the smiling faces of little sunshines, heartbreaking moments.......

Diagnostic test , Revision of Topics

 It was a Wednesday. Since it was the sent off of plus two batch 2023, we shifted our place to the ground floor. Fourth period i conducted Diagnostic test for class 9 A students. I prepared 20 one mark questions. Students were attended and scored well. But three students got marks below 10 , so I decided to give them a remedial instruction. 

                                

In the fifth and sixth period i got extra hours in 8C. Since the portions were completed, i revised the topic Sound. Conducted small test and clarified their doubts. 

In the last period, we have a small discussion related to our sent off ceremony. 

The leaving moments are approaching.....

Mark distribution, Conscietization program on Cyber Safety of children

 It was a Tuesday. Reached school 9.10am. First two periods we prepared for the conscietization program on Cyber Safety of children. In the third period i got an extra hour in 8C, so that I distributed the answer sheets to students and explained the answers also. 90% of the students scored good marks.

In the fourth period i got an extra hour in 9A so that I distributed the marks of achievement Test. Some of the students got low marks, so that I announced the diagnostic test will be conducted on Wednesday. 

In the afternoon periods me and Reshma took the conscietization program in 9A. We introduced the topic by quoting an incident related to cyber threat. And we conducted a debate on the merits and demerits of Cyber world. Students were actively participated in the session. And later we explained different cyber crimes and through a video we explained how can we use cyber world safely and securely. It was an interesting and interactive session.
