It was a Tuesday , beginning of another busy week. First and second period i have classes in 9A. I taught amorphous carbon in a new way, i just introduced the topic and gave the students an activity, to present different forms of amorphous carbon in their own style and creativity. Maximum of two minutes were allotted for their presentation and 7 minutes was given for discussion.
It was a nice and eye opening session, because students were very talented and creative to demonstrate a concept. 6 teams presented differently including interview, skits, conversation etc. Finally group 1 and group 2 were won for their presentation.
Second period i taught Carbonate and bicarbonate, their preparation, and identification test using animated videos and slides. And did an activity based on the video.
In the afternoon we distributed the mid day meal and after it we played Shuttle game.
In the sixth period i got an extra hour in 8C so that I introduced Capacitor and it's principle of working. And gave them an activity based on the topic.
An engaging day, exploring new ways for Teaching and Learning......
